Camden Healthy Start

Camden Healthy Start is dedicated to improving the health of pregnant individuals, babies and families in the city of Camden. The program seeks to lower the city's infant mortality rate which is consistently far above state and national rates. Services include care coordination and support, referrals to community-based services, assistance with finding a medical home, pregnancy and parenting education, breastfeeding support, screening for depression, support for father involvement and free supplemental diapers. 

To join Camden Healthy Start, you must: 

  • live in the city of Camden
  • be pregnant or have a child under 18 months old

Camden Healthy Start Housing Initiative

Camden Healthy Start's Community Action Network (CAN) is on a mission to identify barriers to stable, affordable and available housing for Camden County families. In partnership with housing agencies and individuals from various levels of government, we are seeking your input to improve housing opportunities in Camden County.
